SUMMARY:Designing an Efficient Wash-Pack Setup
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a tour of the wash-pack and produce storage space at Who Cooks For You Farm in Armstrong County\, PA\, and enjoy ten different melon varieties grown on the farm. \nCo-owners Chris Brittenburg and Aeros Lillstrom will share their experiences with design\, efficiency\, and outgrowing their space in just a few short years. Following the tour will be a Q&A session and a melon tasting. \nWho Cooks For You Farm is a first-generation family farm that supplies certified organic produce to farmers markets\, CSAs\, and restaurants in the greater Pittsburgh area. Their adoption of organic practices and crop rotations enrich\, protect\, and encourage healthy soil\, yielding fresh and nutritious produce. \nNotes\n\nThis is a hands-on workshop. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear.
