Listening Session Flood Mitigation: A Roadmap for Pennsylvania

Learn about the growing impact of severe floods and droughts on farms and other lands and the role farmers can play in directly mitigating flood and drought damage in this panel presentation.

Two livestock farmers will highlight their different approaches to 2023’s record-breaking flooding and drought conditions.

We will also cover resources farmers can access to reduce exposure, take preventive measures, and help downstream neighbors. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and share your own flood impact stories and solutions.
